Privacy Policy

Last updated: 30 September 2026

Chatmizer ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your personal information is collected, used, and disclosed by Chatmizer.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information from you when you register on our site, place an order, subscribe to our newsletter, respond to a survey, or fill out a form. This includes account data, integration metadata, and conversation logs necessary to provide our service.

2. How We Use Your Information

Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:

  • To personalize your experience
  • To improve our website and application
  • To improve customer service
  • To process transactions
  • To send periodic emails and product updates

3. Payment Processing & PCI Compliance

All financial transactions are handled securely by our Merchant of Record (Creem). We do not store, process, or transmit your credit card details on our servers. Our Merchant of Record acts as the legal reseller of Chatmizer services and assumes responsibility for global tax compliance (including VAT/GST), fraud prevention, and strict adherence to Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI-DSS) and GDPR regulations regarding financial data.

4. Data Security & AI Processing

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. When using our Native AI Copilot features, your conversational data is processed by Google (Gemini) strictly for the purpose of generating responses. We do not use your private conversational data to train our foundational models.

5. Your Data, Retention and Deletion

You can delete your account yourself from Settings at any time. Deletion takes effect after a 7-day window in which you can cancel it; then your personal data and every Workspace you chose to delete are erased, including files and channel connections. Workspaces you hand over to a teammate stay with them. We keep only security and audit records, error reports, support conversations and legally required billing records. See section 6 of our Terms of Service for the full details.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Essential cookies keep you signed in and remember your workspace, language and cookie choice; the site cannot work without them, so they need no consent. Analytics and Marketing cookies are optional: they are off until you switch them on in the cookie banner, and no Google or Meta script loads on our pages before that. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time from Cookie settings at the bottom of every page; cookies of anything you switch off are deleted straight away. We ask again every 6 months, and whenever what we use changes.

Essential— Always on

  • sb-…-auth-tokenChatmizer · until you sign outKeeps you signed in to your account.
  • flowista_workspace_idChatmizer · 1 yearRemembers which workspace you opened last.
  • NEXT_LOCALEChatmizer · 1 yearRemembers the language you read the site in.
  • flowista_consentChatmizer · 6 monthsRemembers the choice you make here.
  • flowista_sidebar_collapsedChatmizer · 1 yearRemembers whether you folded the dashboard menu.

Analytics— Let me choose

  • _gaGoogle · 2 yearsTells one visit from another (a random number, not your name).
  • _ga_<ID>Google · 2 yearsKeeps track of the current visit.

Marketing— Let me choose

  • _fbpMeta · 90 daysLets Meta connect ad visits from this browser.
  • _fbcMeta · 90 daysRemembers the Meta ad you clicked to get here.
  • _gcl_auGoogle · 90 daysLets Google measure its ads.

Each choice is recorded (a random ID, the choice, the date, the banner version, your country, and your account if you were signed in -- never your IP address) so we can show what you agreed to. These records are deleted after 1 year.

7. Analytics and Advertising (Google, Meta)

Only with your consent:

  • Analytics -- Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC) measures visits: pages opened, approximate location (city level), device and browser. We do not send your name or email to Google.
  • Marketing -- the Meta Pixel and Conversions API (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) and Google ad measurement record steps such as signing up, starting a trial or paying, so we can measure our ads and show fewer, more relevant ones. With the Conversions API our server sends the same events; when you are signed in they include your email and phone number hashed (irreversibly scrambled), and your IP address and browser, which Meta uses to match the event. Purchases are reported only when marketing was allowed at checkout.

We never sell your personal data. Your browser's Global Privacy Control signal is honoured: Marketing then starts off.

8. International Transfers

Our service providers (including Supabase for hosting, Google, Meta, Creem and our email provider) may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where the law requires it, these transfers rely on the providers' Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard.

9. Your Rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the EU/UK GDPR or Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020), you can ask us to:

  • give you a copy of your personal data
  • correct it or delete it
  • restrict or object to how we use it, including for marketing
  • withdraw any consent you gave, at any time, without affecting what was done before

Write to us at the address below; we answer within 30 days. You can also complain to your data-protection authority.
